Victoria grew up in the eastern San Diego mountains of Jamul. Her musical family fostered her interest in the violin and she became heavily involved in San Diego Youth Symphony, where she was Concertmaster for three years. While in High School, Victoria competed and won prizes in both the MTAC Goodlin Scholarship Competition and the ASTA Solo Competition.
